Mark has dedicated 40 years to the insurance industry, shaping the landscape of PPOs, HMOs, and ICHRAs through decades in senior leadership.
As CEO of a health insurance company, Mark oversees a firm that writes 1 in every 13 individual market policies in Georgia and lower Tennessee. His companies’ contributions to innovation in personal health have been featured on PBS’s "Viewpoint with Dennis Quaid" (2024) and numerous testimonies before federal and state agencies.
A recognized industry innovator, he wrote one of the first large employer ICHRA plans in the U.S. (2020), co-founded The HRA Council (2021), and co-authored NABIP’s ICHRA Certification Course (2023).
Mark champions education, legislative advocacy, and market growth for ICHRA adoption nationwide. In 2025, he became the first Chairman Emeritus of The HRA Council.
